Dear Moms:
The holidays are over. The holidays can be such a joyous time - but can be
such a difficult time for those of us who have experienced the loss of a
child. I remember that I used to wish that we could skip directly from
November 1st to about January 8th - and skip the holidays all together.
But learning to navigate through the holidays is a part of the journey that
we are on. I am so grateful for The Lord's grace and comfort.
Like most women and mothers, we get so busy taking care of everything and
everyone during the holidays, that we do not take enough time for ourselves.
Well, now is the time to start concentrating on ourselves again. This
Saturday, January 12th, we have a wonderful opportunity to hear Nancy
McConlogue, where she will present "Writing a Blessing,"
a guided session on God's desire to bless and for us to bless others.
Please pray as to three verses to bring to use for your blessing. Let Him
guide you to the verses which may not be the favorite ones we always turn
to.

For those of you who would like to help plan our Annual Conference being
held in San Diego in May of his year, we will be meeting at 9:00 a.m. on the
