Hello Everyone:
During our last meeting BJ Jensen taught us how to sign the words of Great is Thy Faithfulness. It was such a beautiful way to see the meaning in the words. We hope that she will teach us another song.
Bethany Macintosh shared her loss of one of her infant twins and the faithfulness of God to shepherd her to a higher ground. No one knows this side of Heaven why the prayers for healing were not His plan for their family but His comfort was a powerful healer that gave Bethany the ability to dig deep within herself where she learned to rest in the knowledge of God 's closeness and hand of love upon their lives. This very Shepherd has guided her to share her testimony of loss with other grieving moms.
The Umbrella Ministries conference which is being held the weekend of May 13 - we will be assembling welcome bags at our April meeting.
At our next meeting which will be held on March 26th we will discuss the first section of Mike Macintosh's book, When Your World Falls Apart, Pgs 1-68 and Pgs 1-6 of the workbook. If you have not had time to read or don't have the materials please come to hear the discussion of these chapters on " Make or Break?" "Bitter or Better," "Frustration or Forgiveness." It's a blessing to all just coming together to share and talk about our pain, our path, the pitfalls, and our praises.
